2SA798 or 2SC1583 are hard to get now, here in Japan also.
but Japanese semiconductor maker "Isahaya  Electronics Corp." starts to
make  2SA1928 and 2SC5169. they are Dual NPN and PNP transistors.
Isahaya got license or something from Hitachi.  so there is still chance 
to get them, I think.
