Woah, it's kind of bizarre when you come back onto a list after several
years and find that you're still remembered for something ;o)

Would the MIDI circuit from my 9090 be of any use? It's a circuit based
around the 16F84 (vintage PIC) and it provides quite a lot of trigger
signals for all of the TR909 sounds, as well as generating velocity
signals. It provides 2ms wide triggers. Could send you the code.
