Great work Grant(as usually).
I did something quite simliare some time ago, in my device
i use a TI 10Mhz video 10bit ADC wich i multiplex to behave
as 8 individual audio rate ADC,s. I found out that it was
much cheaper to mux a Video ADC then using separate 8 bitters!
Each ADC does a different function, one scans X one Y
one scan banks, one wave bits, etc. I could sort of
emulate a Prophet VS oscillator or the Ensonic VFX
oscillator.
However the interesting thing is that you can scan
bith depths as well as wave bith lenghts and scan
forward backward or alternate or modulate the scan
by audio if you wish!(wich gives most harsh noise waves!)
However, you have a interesting thing that i havent
done and thats the idea of using quadrature and
trapetzoid waves, must try that!
Just my 4 cents!
