Hi All
Well after some luck getting parts and help from people on here and ken stone (big thanks to all) I now have an sh1000 making sound!....even the case I picked up to replace the damaged one is only 2 serial numbers away from the original.....guess they were destined to meet again after 30 years in the world ;)
Anyway everything seems to work fine but the random note generator does not seem to throw notes at the higher end, it is 'playing' the synth with I guess random notes but they all seem to be on the lower end. Does anyone have any ideas on what part may be at fault and worth checking? Also I noticed that the random note generator seems to improve a bit if the noise level pot is turned up....is the noise source what the random generator maybe tracks to produce its notes?
Any help would be great
Thanks
Brett
