Actually, here in Sweden it has been done a number of times. Moving the house,
as built. There is a whole bunch of jacks lifting the beams of the house up,
and then put on a trailer and then being moved as is. It looks very strange
when you look on a road and see a red house with white edges being slowly moved
to another location, but it is being done every now and then. If you can move
a Saturn 5 rocket, a house should not be difficult, now shall it, and not even
over a swamp!!!

Well, a secondary server could be put in place during your move and fuzzy early
days. Just because the list-server moves the list should not be halted. ;O)
