Ugh... GOT to find people who want to pay me to do SOMETHING. I can
scavenge for food, but the lack of funds hurts my SDIY efforts!
I bought a beautiful patch matrix for about $20. It is supposedly a
piece from an analog computer, which looks to be the case. It's about
17"x3", 11x55 points, with 55 more points on a bus strip. Made from
aluminum bars, fiberglass, with gold contacts. Only marking is an
engraved "KS-19506LI" on the side of it.
I don't know exactly what equipment this is from, but my main mystery
is what kinds of jacks or plugs I need to use it! I don't have calipers
or anything to measure the holes with, but they appear to be about 2mm
wide, maybe a bit less, and about 2cm deep. I was hoping that some of
you might guess what I need to connect these points! If I'd need to get
pins made it'd take me a lot longer to get this going than if they are
something I can buy somewhere. I don't know any machinists around here.
I'd be grateful for any ideas y'all might throw out.
CJ
