What do you mean by feeding the dB & phase results into a VST plugin?
The only way that'd work for a generic filter would be to use varying
convolution and then you'd run into large cpu usage, stepping (finite
amount of curves) and possibly patent issues.

I've done something related. Instead of recording small signal curves, I
model the actual circuit in realtime (somewhat idealized and separated
version).
http://dafx04.na.infn.it/WebProc/Proc/P_061.pdf has the theory and
http://antti.smartelectronix.com/ has the results (*)

*: XPander filter is not true XPander filter, but a model of OTA based
filter. I just called it that because it has the same 16 modes and similar
reduced passband loss with increasing resonance.
