It was the 1971 price list on your site that brought up the 906 module
question!
After further looking, it appears that the original modules ran to about
928 or so. ( I didn't know about the 905 until I found it on a German
site.)
930s - 940s numbers not used?
950s are controllers and keyboards.
960s are sequencer modules
970s numbers not used?
980s mostly mixers? (I've got descriptions of the 984)
990s are miscellaneous functions such as multiples and attenuators.
1000+ non-synthesizer devices such as mixers, tape speed controllers,
etc.
2000 series parts are 900 series form factors designed (and built?) by
non-moog people but sold through moog.
CP - control panel modules. Half high modules that function as
additional controls. (Started as the small boards in the keyboards?)
