Just wondering if anyone here has experience with the speakjet chip? i
finished my carrier board
http://www.speechchips.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=9
<http://www.speechchips.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=9> on the weekend and
actually found it str8 forward to build. It now lives in a project box
with 8 trigger switches and built in RS232 connector and 1\4" output ;)
sounds great but am having some problem trying to understand the
phrasealator software and their is little or no manual out there. If
anyone knows how to easily program the 8 triggers with anything but the
normal preprogrammed phrases it would be cool and how to correctly save
words or phrases i create as well id appreciate it. Also does anyone
know of a simple app to enter a word and get the right allophones
presented without having to figure it out that would be great.
Bought my chips form Brice at http://www.synthmodules.com/speakjet.htm
quick delivery and of course hes thinking of these in a music sense and
not to stick in a robot ;)
Cya
Brett
