Dumb Question of the Month:

What is the minimum trigger pulse width for an AD generator?

Does this question even mean anything?  If I look at all the AD generator 
designs anyone would want to use, is there a certain minimum pulse width I 
would need to use?

I ask, because I am adding some gate/trigger output circuits to my chaos 
generator box.  I thought I would use 50-us-wide, 5 V pulses.  This is way 
narrower that what you ordinarily would need for triggering control 
envelopes, but could be interesting for other uses such as driving VCO sync.

I tried the 50 us pulses with all my envelope generators and it seems to 
work fine.  But I think a kbd would usually put out something longer, 
no?  (Just going by memory, since I don't use kbds.)
