         Just a general thanks to those who pointed me in the right 
directions. I'm well on the case now. So, much obliged.

I finally figured out how to get REAL information out of the ATMEL site. (I 
hope) Don't look from the actual product folder it seems. What they refer 
to as data-sheets, actually aren't. So I should be on the case when they 
arrive.
