My thoughts on the Vocal filter and beginners assembling it - As people no
doubt know, I have considerable experience in electronics and assembly, and
yet I find the vocal filter a rather daunting task. The board took many hour
to assemble, and I am still procrastinating on wiring up the panel a couple
of years down the track.

Simply put, the larger a project, the greater the chance of the
inexperienced making one or several mistakes (or the experienced making
mistakes for that matter) and the inexperienced usually have very few
troubleshooting skills to fall back on.
