Y-ellow All.
Sorry if I'm getting repetitive here but I've hit a snag and I'm
hoping one of you uber programmers may have the answer.

I need to work with an embedded ARM chip. An ATMEL AT91 family to be exact.
Is there a cheap way (IE: zero outlay) of talking to these things. They're
all JTAG and as far as I can tell, no two JTAG interfaces are a-like.

As it turns out, the device programmer I bought a few years back will talk
to an AVR over JTAG, but only the now, obsolete variety. Fortunately there
is a way of talking to them using a simple parallel port cable from both
BOSH and linux. But search as I might, I can't seem to find anything as
simple to work with an ARM chip. So if anyone could point me at a solution
I'd be most grateful.

Also if anyone's worked with the SAM97 DreamSynth chips out of ATMEL, I'd
appreciate a few tips on how to get started with those as well.

Thanks muchley.

Be absolutely Icebox.
