Hi Fredrik
There seems to be wires actually wired into the bindings, I assume
normally the wires would connect to solder tabs etc at the transformers
base? These pictures from Steve will help a lot in identifying if this
is normal or not when I take the printouts home tonight ;)
Thanks a lot for all the info on the transformer connections, hopefully
I can figure out the wiring to the fuse holder and I should be right!
Cya

I don't understand this, could you please clarify? Is something wired
into the transformer windings? Where does it's leads go? The transformer
should have seven wires coming out of it.
There is a neon lamp connected parallel to the primary side via two 100k
resistors, but no signs of PTC's or NTC's mounted inside the windings.
The transformer has connections for 100V(blue) and 120V(green) or
230V(brown) and 250V(red) on the primary side. The other primary
connector is white. The primary side fuse should be 0.5Amps. The
secondary windings (red, black, gray, and yellow) go directly to the
power regulator located on the "PL-1" card (the large PCB with two TO-3
power transistors) to pins 56, 55, 54, and 53 respectively.
All PCBs has names (PL-1, FL-4, VCF-1, VCO-1, AR-1), and all pins are
numbered. If you have unpopulated contacts, I can check for you where
they should go.
Hope this helps,
Fredrik C

Hi All
I picked up a damaged sh1000 a while ago for really good price and by
luck the other day got a new timber case for it so cosmetically its
looking good. Unfortunately when it was damaged the transformer ripped
loose inside and i cant see where to mount it is the first thing also it
damaged wires connected to the fuse at the rear (round plastic thingy
with solder tabs) so there are some free wires floating around. Apart
form that the two 4 pin connectors that run from the pcb under the front
panel to the right side of the pcb in the bottom of the case have come
off and im not sure which one connects where. if anyone has any idea of
which one goes where and where the transformer should be mounted and
what wires connect where to the fuse id be really appreciative if you
could let me know or if you have a wiring diagram forward it on or let
me know where i can look at it.
The other thing i noticed is the transformer seems to be wired into the
copper coils....is this normal? or has it maybe been modified?
Thanks
Brett
