Matters what you're using them for. :)
On older models of 2600's for example, they used enclosed 1/8"
switchcraft jacks.
These jacks are unreliable with many makes of non-switchcraft plugs.
The normals often don't cut out with these plugs.
Arp changed them later to open style types, which are more reliable,
though they make working on a 2600 more difficult when taking boards
in and out.
