[Resubscribed after many, many years!!]

Apologies to those of you who may have seen this over on AH...

Hi All,

I'm after a few components to repair a couple of bits of kit in my collection.
I'm after:
 a TORX178 or 179 TOSLINK receiver for my sampler;
 five KS11-R22...CQD [ITT/Cannon KS11 series] buttons for my MXR drumcomputer -
they're the buttons for the numeric keypad; I'm missing the metal switch part
and the indented button top).

So far I've only been able to find sources in the US (digikey which appears to
be charging a large amount for shipping, as well as having a silly minimum
order amount)

I'm just wondering whether
1) anyone knows of a reasonable UK supplier that does wacky components like
this (Farnell, RS, Maplin, rapid don't do them);
2) it'll be cheaper for me to find a friendly go-between in the US, and get them
that way...
3) Any better places to ask?!

Thanks,

john..
