You DO realize you just CC'd analogue heaven, not Synth DIY, right? ;-)

I rebuilt the sensor using the same design they used.
They had a black foam rubber which had rotted away.
I used a tougher foam that's used to insulate water pipes from the cold.
Doesn't break down and has an excellent sponge feeling.
There's a  piece of buss wire down the middle, the length of the sensor.
On top is some insulating material, then the bar which presses down 
from the keys.
As the keys are pressed down, the bar squishes against the wire, 
closer with more pressure.
Develops a few PF, which is conditioned by a 3080, etc.

It's packed now too.
I bagged it, bubblewrapped, then into large box with peanuts.
Warning posted as to Front and Top. :)
