[sdiy] SOCAL SDIY / AH group therapy meeting (AHSW)

Sorry,  but nobody in LA comes to anything unless it's either group therapy
or there's wine and cheese involved.

I have been in discussion with Jim Patchell about hosting the Southern
California SDIY/AH meet in Smell A (Los Angeles) this year as opposed to
Goletta Library, where Jim has been kind enough and has had the burden of
hosting this conclave for the last couple of years.

I was originally contemplating the soon to be completed new storefront of
Big City Music, but I'm thinking now it would be better to find another
venue and I have two in mind:  The Brand Library Arts Center in Glendale or
the Old Armory in Pasadena, both of which are great and....free.

Free's always good.  Great is a bonus.  Great and free is a win win.

There's another hall I recently went to an American Composer's Forum meeting
at on Colorado Blvd in the 'leaving Glendale - entering Pasadena' gray zone
that's also real real nice.  I'm getting information on that to see if it's
also free and to get an idea of their open Saturdays.  All three of these
are conveniently centrally located between Santa Barbara (Jim)
and..uh....ah...Mexico.

How's in about 8 to 10  weeks sound to evuh'body?  This way, those of you
with projects almost completed that you may wish to bring won't have to work
our tails off  to complete them like I am having to on these VCOs, bless
their little triangle shaped hearts.
