That probably is the case.  I've ordered the 3207's/3102's from Visual Sound, and they work quite well.  

If you receive 3207's that come in several small pieces that require gluing together, you've probably gotten the Bissell3207.  These are selected parts that have been modified for optimal BBD performance.  They may have the prefix MN, CN, BL, or Visual Sound, but, once assembled, the identifying factor is that they will have two date codes: original manufacture, and DOS*.
