Does anyone know what it is doing in the DS-2?
Because, if it is acting as a thermostatic heater for the indeoendant
transistors
in the same case, then it might be replaceable by one of the fine DIY
designs. (I understand it isn't used in the power supply or an audio
output, though I havn't seen one of these synths personally).
