Synth-DIY would be especially nice, but it certainly wouldn't have to be
only for the hardcore DIY crowd.

Yes, sometime next year. It will give everyone plenty of time to plan
things. I get the impression that you're in Florida yourself. You might not
want to plan this for the winter months, because we have this crazy little
thing called 'snow' in the northern states, and it might prevent some of
the more northern people from driving to the event. :)
If it were to be held in Florida, or anywhere on the actual eastern
coastline, we probably want to avoid hurricane season as well.

The keyboard museum sounds really cool, and the climate in your area is
good, but you're not exactly centrally located. That should be taken into
consideration. I don't suppose you could fit the keyboard museum into the
trunk of your car? No? :)

I wasn't thinking of a particular time or place yet. I was just hoping to
get some discussion started, and then hopefully we could all arrive at a
compromise that works well for the group.
