   Surface mount SOIC package.  :)

   I know there's the 3280, but it's not available in SMT form.  The 
13700 is, but I've never been particularly fond of it, probably because 
it is a space hog.
   Anyway, I'm just of the opinion that with the number of good dual 
transistor packages available in SMT form, I could easily build a 
discrete version that would take up very little space, and with the added 
benefit of being able to design the expo-converter right in.
   I haven't yet looked at all of the links posted on the topic so far, 
but I do appreciate the help!
