hello everyone - i have all of henry's books. great stuff.
i made a 566 VCO based on the 566 book w/ tri,
pulse and saw outputs, sync in, pww input, 1/v oct
and FM inputs.
is it a super stable VCO? not really - but it works pretty
good - stays in tune for a good amount of time. sitting
next to a oakley VCO, a dual cem VCO and a dual
paia VCO. compared to the others - it's not a
SOLID GOLD VCO - but it has it's own sound and
is usefull. i have a switch that drops it into semi LFO
realms. i could try a bigger cap to get it lower - but
works great for simple vibrato effects and i'm glad
i have it. it sounds similiar to rene's CMOS vco,
but with a lil more CHUNK (what does that mean?)
the tuneable noise source is a good time as well.
just thought i'd throw my 2 cents in
