We have a couple of HP digital scopes at work that have switchable
50ohm / 1M inputs.    They are selectable from a 'soft' menu... I think
there
is some indicator light, but if you are not REAL careful its possible to
really
fvck up your measurements and waste your time (big time)

Right - most scopes are 1M impedance
