[sdiy] Midwest Analog Product Books, any reviews?

Hi Charles,
It depends on how much you already know about the 3080 or OTA's in general.
I personally didn't know that much about them, and am generally thick as a
brick on the subject, so the book has certainly helped me.
There are some online doc's on the 3080 (IIRC, Rene Schmitz has one on his
site that talks about current mirrors and the 'extra ball' the 3080 has),
but I haven't seen any other resource that pulls it together with the basics
like this one does.
It covers exponential and linear sources of varying performance/complexity,
has a VCA, a balanced modulator, and the VCO which is a simple Schmidt
trigger-integrator triangle oscillator. No filter application, which would
have been a nice addition.
Cheers,
Scott
