NTSC4.43 will appear black and white on an NTSC 3.57 monitor. It isn't
really a standard, rather than a bastardisation thought up for
"multistandard" VCRs and TVs that are sold in PAL based countries. For what
it's worth, NTSC video cassettes are neither - the color burst frequency
isn't stored.
