Just out of interest. Being your actual "Artisan" I would have taken 
offence at that. Going out and gathering the audio then editing it 
together. Then building up a computer system to play it back on demand is 
not "Art?" I beg to differ. It is part of the "ART" I'm infamous for. Some 
may even argue that there's more art in that than actually building a 
machine that mimics sound effects. Though I'd probably take offence at that 
as well.

You mentioned a CD so I figured that creating a recording was in the ball 
park. And who said it had to be all mounted in a computer case?

Not that I care. Just that I thought I'd point out that if musicians are 
not artists any more then I guess this explains why the RIAA don't pay 
their artists. Because there aren't any. Where the music comes from in that 
case I'm not entirely sure but there's strong evidence that where 
commercial music is concerned, it almost certainly doesn't emerge from 
actual artists. Maybe bullshit artists I'm not sure?
