Here is a WAG answer:

The power supply MAY deliver up to 75 Watts to the load.
The linear power supply MAY be 50% efficient. So the power supply MAY 
consume up to 75 Watts.

Put a 75 Watt light bulb inside the box and see how hot the box gets.

Your modular may draw substantially less than 75 Watts so the power supply 
will waste corresponding less power.
