Very little actually, just a cheap bench type drill press, a small bench 
grinder, a few Dremels, and a bunch of hand tools like files, taps, dies, 
nibblers, and of course the requisite big hammer. One of my favorite tools is a 
Roper-Whitney type hand punch, it makes up to 1/4 inch holes in sheet metal 
instantly with no drilling required.
