Doug, that is super nice! I'm impressed with your mechanical work. What sort
of metal working / cutting tools do you have in your shop?

I also like the opto sensor and the "V" gated shutter. Something similar
might make a neat aftertouch sensor, or a neat hand-held percussion
controller gizmo (velocity sensitive electro-maracas, anyone?). Anyway,
great stuff!
