What's the deal with resistors in Sequential stuff?  I once was brought a 
Prophet 5 that had a very mysterious voice problem.  After days of 
head-scratching, I traced the problem to an internally broken or open resistor on one of the 
VCO's.  The resistor wasn't visibly damaged, and it never needed to handle 
any real current, nor was it really possible for it to take any physical abuse, 
considering its location.  How did it break?
