[sdiy] More Russian parts, LEL' UDS

Since I first heard of it about two years ago, I have loved the sound
of the LEL' UDS < http://www.ruskeys.net/eng/base/leluds.php > <
http://www.ruskeys.net/pasp/leluds/c/udscxem.jpg >. It's a crunchy,
very analog-sounding percussion synth. Since I doubt if I will find one
of these for cheap in the states, I have found myself often pondering a
clone of the circuit.

The only most boggling thing currently is my lack of knowledge about
the Soviet / Russian semiconductors which are used. Info I have found
on the web has been very sparse. Most of the Russ CMOS chips are
supposedly compatable with similar western 4XXX ICs. As for
transistors...?

Any links to datasheets for these parts? Or a comprehensive
compatability database?

Thanks,
CJ
