If im not actually needing gain (im not) then is it as simple as a set of pots?
The application - my newly acquired hd recorder has 16 outs, but no mixer on board. I really dont want to tie up a whole load of my
main mixer channels just for this, so im thinking just mixing them down to a single (well, dual, as ill have left and right tracks)
output.
In this im looking at a couple of 8 into 1 mixers - no gain, but i will want to attenuate tracks down. All working on standard line
level.
To be real novice, what sort of value pots should i use, and, im presuming, that in this case, i shouldnt use any other resistors,
components at all? Just simply tie all the pots together to a common out?
Thanks, julian
