[sdiy] Sounds of drum circuits

Hi all, i'm thinking of building a small, simple
drummachine and was thinking of using paia drumtone
board or maybe the "programmable drumest"
(radio-electronics -78), does anyone know how these
sound, maybe a soundclip? I've also been thinking of
using circuits from Roland DR-110 and CR-78, but i
can't seem to get a decent schematic of the latter
one.
