[sdiy] TTS chips

I once built a module using the SC-01 speach chip. It was awesum. I salvaged the chip from a video game board and used one of the eprom from the board to address the phonems. When I first fired it it, I was in awe at the sound coming from this critter.
 Too bad that these chips are soo damn rare. Some time ago the was a post about a chip that can do the same thing, some one will remember....."Jet" some thing or other.
