Hi Jim,

I have a Weller WES51. It came with an "ETA" tip, which is a screwdriver 
type, 1/16" wide with 5/8" reach. I used this size/shape tip for years 
when I was doing production work and like it the best. I did buy some 
small conical tips for more intricate work, but I don't use them much.

BTW, I have the thermostat set to 700 degrees. Anything below that just 
feels too slow to me. As the temperature rises, however, you must pay 
close attention to your technique. I have seen folks that like to solder 
at even higher temps.
