The Orgon Orgoniser (sp) synth appeared to do something
similar commercially, although I've never seen a schematic.
There should be a review somewhere in Sound On Sound,
late 1990s for those who are interested.  The UI was a bit
friendlier that the toggle-switch-fest of the MIF.
