Well, the quality of the Behringer stuff depends...
The ECM8000 microphone is cheap and (having the properties
of the capsule in mind) delivers a good performance.

Buying the (Panasonic ?) capsule, making a metal tube,
add a preamp and balanced output, if you sum this up,
you can not make it for that price.

So I spent the bucks for it. Did not regret.

And the construction seems to be robust enough for a measurment
mic like this.
