[sdiy] Buchla's back

Another point of interest is that his new 200e series modules are
programmable. The MIDI converter module acts as the 'brains' of the outfit.
While patch cord connections wouldn't be memorized, perhaps the internal
busses mentioned will take care of the normaled connections and maybe even
allow mapping of MIDI CCs for interconnections. I always thought (and I know
several others here have too) that programmable modules would be useful,
even though the patching would be difficult or even impossible to fully
implement. Anyway, bravo Mr. Buchla!

Okay, now I'm taking bets as to when Tom Oberheim and Alan R. Pearlman are
coming back. Me personally, I'd love to see a reissue of the Matrix 6
(ridiculously easy to do), and a programmable Odyssey (with a third VCO).

Cheers!
