Less is more. The heatsinking compound is only needed to aid in transferring the
heat to the heat sink. WIth a highly polished and leveled heat sink and
regulator mounting fin, no heat sink compound would be needed. The heatsink
compound has a lower heat dissapation capability than the metal, so a thin layer
is best. Then torque down the screws untill the compound oozes out the edges.
