Just as much at issue is that most people have a price... Engineers do
often sell their companies to bean counters, we have seen this happen
many times in electronic music.

Harry... you leave me spent! >;]P Seriously though, most companies
appear to be less interested in doing business than they are in making
things easy for themselves. Easy meaning a captive clientele engaged in
one-stop-shopping. This way the "business" can be run automatically,
and in the mire of statistics the bean counter his/her-self is
neutralized.
