Digikey, Allied, and Arrow are easy and very fast, they can ship
within 24 hours to your door without having to go through customs. I
order from these places several times a year.
Despite that, Mouser is still my favourite supplier mostly because
it's so easy to find things in their catalogue. Delivery from Mouser
takes longer because the package will have to go through customs. The
biggest issue with ordering from Mouser is to select the correct
shipping method. UPS charges ridiculous amounts for brokerage fees
($35 to $55), Fedex is much cheaper ($7). Makes a big difference on a
fifty dollar order.
I've only ordered from Jameco once and I didn't have any problems
with extra fees added. But maybe that's because I had it shipped via
USPS and not a courier.
