The other classic Hammond reverb is the "pearl necklace" style, and while
magnetic in the pickup section is also subject to damage during shipping. I
got one from USA and it wasn't as healthy as it could have been. The thing
that really annoyed me is these come with an integral shipping clamp for the
springs, but simce the instructions were no doubt long lost, the sender
didn't have a clue about it even though he deals in old organ parts all the
time!
