[sdiy] TO-3 regulator issue

Hi All,

Just a quick pondering...

Has anyone ever run into the issue where you have two TO-3 regulators, both
of which have different pinouts?

That's what happened to me today.  I bought one surplus 7815, and the 7915
was out of stock, so I ordered that from mouser.  Now I think I'll need to
get the 7815 from mouser too.

Anyone have some creative idea here, short of cutting the heatsink in half?
