PWM (not sure what PW is in this context) is already provided, assuming you
are referring to the René Schmitz circuit. As for sync, I'm inclined to
believe it's possible. The control for reset is the schmitt trigger which is
composed of two inverters. If were to dive in and make an experiment, I
would think that it could be done. My guess would be to substitute the right
most inverter of the schmitt trigger pair with either an AND gate or an OR gate.
Perhaps Mr. Schmitz will pipe in here, I'd like to know if this is possible
and exactly how to do it as well.
