I just got a new products announcement from On Semiconductor. In it are
The NE5517 (which has a 3080-like core), 5532,5534,NE570 etc.:

Subject: [sdiy] ca3080???

With all the talk about the death of the CA3080 part, I'm curious about the
differences between the versions. According to www.findchips.com, the is
still a significant stock and I'm thinking I should get some while I can.
But is three a difference between the versions that will make any difference
in the DIY projects I have or may come up with?

The list of parts to choose from is:
CA3080E, CA3080AE, NTE996 (supposed replacement part), CA3080A, CA3080S,
CA3080H, ...
