It doesn't have to be analog, IMO. I would love to have more time to learn 
more about DSP and PIC coding.  I am extremely interested. 

But I get so tired of using computers all day long at work, and then every
time I work with a DJ or record someone everything is protools this and
VST and native instruments that, that it's a relief to can all the digital
crap for a few hours and fire up a soldering iron.
