Can't recall the URLs right now, but search for J. Reed Ghazela. He is
commonly hailed as the grandfather of circuitbending (though many others have/would
have figured it out on their own). There's also a LiveJournal community
called 'circuitbending' that both Nate and I are on (if you join, I'm autophage
and nate's xmanhattanx).
But in all seriousness... most of what you'll find is 'figure stuff out on
your own'. The only advice other than that is to be careful you don't bend the
power supply - not only will that probably fry the circuit, it could cause
burns/pain/death (if it uses a wall supply). Generally people say not to bend
anything over 6 volts, but I just do anything battery-powered (well, excluding
lantern batteries etc) - most things aren't above 9volts, and it's pretty
difficult to kill yourself with those.
Remember, above all, that the fun doesn't begin until you've started a few
electrical fires.
