hopefully eric/robotboy8 will respond to this when he checks his mail...
he probably knows a number of sites... i've done a lot of bending, but i've
never been interested in speak and spells or sk-1s or 'by the book' bends,
so i don't really know any websites [search bill t miller / orgy of noise on
google... check out http://www.baragon.8m.com/ too]. there's a big yahoo
group and one on livejournal too.

cheap effects pedals always have a ton of fun bends... cheap digital
delays and autowah/envelope followers always have a lot of fun points...
i'm working on a DOD autowah pedal right now, and i'm getting a lot of fun
sounds. when finding points try adding a resistor, pot, or capacitor so you
can find different good spots... on the autowah there is one nice spot that
will just short out the pedal if i don't use a 15k resistor, otherwise it
makes a great screeching noise.

i recase pedals so i can have more space for switches and knobs... i
have bypass for all the bends, so i can still get the original [or pretty
close] functionality. i also like to add a true bypass to all the pedals i
mod, i remove and short the connections from the on/off switch from the
pedal, then just make the pedal into an FX loop with a stomp switch. this
helps avoid any bleed when the pedal is off [reguardless of bends or not if
you are using crappy pedals!]

adding fx loops into the pedal as bends is cool too.
