[sdiy] "new ic" website

It may be more prudent to select parts for matched characteristics than
using a part with better specs (especially in our volumes). I didn't really
look into the specs on these particular parts - I just included them as an
example to catch your attention like it did mine. If I was to go to the
trouble of finding matched pairs with good characteristics, starting with
10% tolerance is better than something bigger.

Sounds like a great site. Thanks, Barry.

RE: matched transistor pairs. Don't they need to be matched better than that
for use in expo converters, etc?

I get all my obsolete IC listings from SDIY! I think 'obsolete' is Latin for
"worth $10 each on ebay" ;)
